So I didn't even know what EDC is when I randomly planned a weekend to go to Vegas.
Post Body

So I made a rookie mistake and just picked the first available weekend for me to take time off work to plan a trip to Vegas for the first time. I just happened to pick EDC weekend which seems to be one of the busiest times of the summer for Vegas. FML lol

Well changing dates could be tricky so I guess my question is "Is Vegas worth going that weekend if I'm not interested in EDC at all?"

What is the rest of Vegas like at this time? Is everything going to be more expensive or will other places be more neglected (crowd wise and price wise) by the draw of the EDC crowd? I'm not interested in anything particular, just a little gambling and whatever random attractions there might be generally on the strip. It's a party of 3 and we're all in our early 30s. I'm going with my wife and friend. We have about 2000$ including getting there and hotel.
