Do you use folding fans outside of raves?

Hey Rave Fam!
I've been noticing the growing popularity of folding fans within the rave community but rarely see them often outside of raves (probably because of the crazy designs and colours!) I was wondering..what if they had a modern aesthetic (think sleek designs, muted colour/chronomatic palettes) for everyday use as an accessory. I'm curious to know if this is something that might find appealing!
