Tips for prepping for EDC with anxiety issues?

So it will be my boyfriends and mines first time at EDCLV next year, and we’ll be going to a few smaller raves between now and then to get used to similar experiences. (We have always loved EDM but never had the money or time until recently to start physically experiencing shows)

However, I have GAD and get overstimulated and I’m worried and so is my bf that I will get over stimulated and anxious because of all the lights and how many people are there. My anxiety is much better under control than it was 3 years ago when we left a show early because the loud booming echo and strobe lights were overstimulating me. (He also have a bit of social anxiety and may get anxious too being in large crowds)

So does anyone have any tips for prepping so we don’t become overwhelmed? Or items we should bring to help mitigate symptoms? At least for me I know having ear plugs and sun glasses will definitely help. We also bought vip passes so hoping that taking some time away from the stages between sets at some of the cooling lounges will help with reset.
