Question about installing an EV charger
Post Body

Hello, I am looking to buy my first EV car.

I currently live in a condo building. We are a 6 unit building and have an outdoor parking lot.

My parking spots are near the front of the condo building, and the electrical room for the building is at the back, around 50 feet from my parking spot.

How would I go about installing a charger with this layout? I am assuming that the charger would be connected to the panel for my unit so that it draws from my panel and not the one of the entire building? If so, how would installation go? The charger would be installed on the side of the building next to my parking spot and a cable would run all the way into the electrical room? Would the cable be exposed? Is this doable?

I live in Canada and we have some harsh winters.

Thanks for your help
