Hi my aunt has a triplex in Toronto ON built approximatly 1940's and we found 60amp fuses where 1 has blown. We are trying desperatly to find a new fuse for this, does anyone know what this is, can we get a replacement fuse these days, is it fine to continue with this old tech or will we need to upgrade to a breaker box?
An electricion had quoted a year ago that he'd happily upgrade us to breakers but only if we agreed to upgrade all 4 boxes which would have $10k. we just want this box working again, not a new pannel . Any peer advice appreciated.
