10/3 cable for A/C

I had some 10/3 and used it to run an a/c disconnect. What do I do with the ground and neutral? Currently black and red are the 2 lines in and the ground and neutral I have hooked together to the buss bar in the disconnect and the main panel. Is this ok or should the neutral be left disconnected on both end?

You just need the 2 hot and the ground before I would cap the neutral at both ends
