Changing a breaker
Post Body

Hi all, I had my electrical service upgraded to 200 amp panel last summer. When they did it, they changed all the breakers. There's this one damn arc fault that's driving me nuts. It runs my master bath outlet and honestly I can't plug in a nightlight without it tripping. I changed out the GFCI just to be safe and it still trips constantly. I want to get rid of the arc fault and go to a regular breaker. Currently it's a 15amp. I'd like to change it to a 20amp. Want to be able to use the hair dryer in there mostly. I have plenty of room in the panel so I'm nowhere near max. We also don't have much running on the panel. I've changed a few in the past. I know not to touch the bus bar. I'm only half stupid so I'm confident in my ability to make this small change. My question is can I go to 20amp?
