The lights in my house love to flicker like the video below. Itās at random times, and seems to be both in our living room and our kitchen and only on switches that have dimmers. They donāt all happen at the same time, and turning them off and back on, or adjusting the dimmer doesnāt make a difference. Then it will randomly stop. Iād like to think itās an old/bad dimmer switch that needs to be replaced, but it also feels ironic that most of the dimmers are having the same issue. Thoughts?
Itās not just the cheap LEDs and dimmers. Iāve had the same issue with quality LEDs and dimmers of different brands. Even if the LEDs are ādimmableā it seems that some dimmer switches regulate the power differently and cause a strobe effect with the bulbs.
