Post Body

The lights in my house love to flicker like the video below. Itā€™s at random times, and seems to be both in our living room and our kitchen and only on switches that have dimmers. They donā€™t all happen at the same time, and turning them off and back on, or adjusting the dimmer doesnā€™t make a difference. Then it will randomly stop. Iā€™d like to think itā€™s an old/bad dimmer switch that needs to be replaced, but it also feels ironic that most of the dimmers are having the same issue. Thoughts?

Itā€™s not just the cheap LEDs and dimmers. Iā€™ve had the same issue with quality LEDs and dimmers of different brands. Even if the LEDs are ā€œdimmableā€ it seems that some dimmer switches regulate the power differently and cause a strobe effect with the bulbs.
