So recently (2 days ago) we thought our fridge had died on us and we ended up buying a new one but turns out the outlet behind it doesn't have power going to it and neither do the 2 other outlets on the same wall I thought it was the breaker since it didn't fix the issue when I performed the reset so I replaced that breaker with a new one (same specs voltage ac and brand) but it still hasn't fixed it the outlet didn't have a cover from the previous owners so I was able to check the side terminals with my multimeter (but that might be broken since I can't get the reading to zero unless I short the probes, so I'm not sure if it's the best way to tell In my case) I tested with a non contact voltage tester with stuff plugged into all 3 outlets and nothing is going through them, could the old fridge have cause a wire fault in the wall or should I try replacing the outlets first?

Any info others can give is utmost appreciated since it's just me being expected to work on it since my parents don't really know electrical work, I might only be 20 but I know enough to troubleshoot it,I'm also buying a circuit breaker finder but I know that won't work until I get power to those outlets.

TLDR: 3 wall outlets are not working on the same wall and replacing the breaker did nothing and it caused us to buy a new fridge.
