Long-time MMO vet here, played WoW on and off for a decade and then switched to FFXIV. Iām needing a bit of a break from 14 and thought of ESO, which I played a bit of way back when it first came out. Some questions:
- Is ESO newb friendly in 2022? Is there an active community?
- Is there a solid main story to follow like FFXIV? Story and lore is one of my favorite parts of a game. Can I follow the story from start to finish, going through all the expansions and extra content in order?
- What is endgame like? Raiding? Casual dungeons?
- Is the open world active with lots of stuff to do?
- Is the game alt friendly?
