Over the years I've made posts here about this, and contributed to ongoing discussions, trying to find a way to like my Templar. (To which I have two because I'm fucking dumb.) I've tried many magika and stamina builds alike, just could never gel with it or figure out what felt wrong. Until now.
While I was in the process of doing a respec (again) it hit me that I didn't really have much in the way of buffs to stick on my back bar. And then everything snapped into place in my head. It's the fuckin' buffs! You see, I hard main Stamden and have long lasting, strong buffs. I then have an alt Magsorc which also has buffs for days. So going to my Stamplar always felt wrong because I have pretty much zilch in that department. Seems like it was just throwing my playstyle completely out of wack and that's what the problem was.
So could I possibly get some advice on this from fellow Templars? I'd like to know what all of the best buffs are that are available to this class, be it from its own class trees or any other. With that, maybe I can finally fix this problem.
