Can I actually play this game without crafting?

Ok so to me, crafting seems pretty daunting, tedious and boring, but I'm also feeling bad constantly begging people to craft me armor. Of course the stuff I get from questing is total crap (and I've been deconstructing it so most of my crafting skills are around 30-40), but if I want to ever have a chance at surviving/doing dungeons/having more gold I have to get into crafting, huh?

Any other people out there who maybe aren't the biggest fans of crafting and have suggestions on how to approach it? It just seems to complicated and tedious to me at the moment...

(I'm playing a Magicka sorcerer high elf, if that matters)
