So... i think i've done fucked up. Today i was having a lot of stuttering, from the usual 60fps down to 10-30fps.
In my ignorance and trying to find the cause i used Steam to verify the game cache. Little did i know, you should never do that, ever. And apparently it deleted the whole game. Now in the downloads folder (of steam) there are some game data, around 36Gb. Can i speed up the download process in any way? Or those files are of no use to me?
EDIT: Seems like not, so will have to spend another couple of days downloading it. When the steam part ends i will probably edit the topic again with further info.
EDIT 2: Steam verification will delete the entire game, including ESO launcher files. Forcing you to redownload the whole thing again.
TL;DR Do not, ever use steam to verify the game cache!
