Does cross progression exist in the game? (Not crossplay!)

Basic question, but I’ve found conflicting answers online.
Returning long time player - had the game on PC since the beta!
Does the game have cross progression? At least, between PS5 and PC? I understand I wouldn’t be able to play with my friends on PC, but could I level my characters solo on PS5 and still see them on PC?
