Does weapon type matter for Werewolf?

I love playing as a werewolf and I had been using dual wielding for a while and started really liking how the two handed feels on a different characters so I was wondering if the weapon passives matter when transformed or not and I couldn't get a clear answer so I thought I'd ask here
