I worked with M first at a school in 2016. We got along immediately as we were two of three teachers hired together and went through training/teaching seminars. He was a bit weird but in an okay way. I left the school after a few months and worked somewhere else. In 2019 I quit a school I was working at for doing shady shit and asked if his school was hiring. He said yes and I sent him my resume to pass on. I got the job. And once I started working at his school, I noticed the change. He was neurotic now.

My birthday came around shortly after I started and a friend, I met at a festival, took me out the day before my birthday. It was fun I enjoyed myself and was very grateful. The day of my birthday I stayed home and chilled out splurged on a good homemade meal and desert and watched movies. The day after my birthday a coworker took me out for dinner nearby. Again, I enjoyed it and was very grateful. When we were both walking home, I hear my name being screamed out (easy to hear as I lived in a quiet neighborhood). M appears drunk and forces himself into my apartment uninvited. Gives me ice cold McDonalds (I don’t know why it was cold the nearest one was a five-minute walk from my place) and the worst whiskey I’ve ever had. Then leaves after insulting our coworker and me.

Not to long after that M started sending texts over the span of six months talking about how ungrateful I was, about how I didn’t spend my birthday with him, about how I threw in his face the fact that I had friends. He was a hot mess. And I’d never respond to him. He heated the fact that I so easily made friends with people in the area. He hated the fact that I found myself in a relationship as well. In January after we’d all come back from the holidays our boss found out I was job hunting and she confronted me. She asked me why and I was honest with her and told her what M was doing and showed her the screenshots of text messages. She was flabbergasted.

Ultimately nothing was done, and the school ended up closing for a bit due to covid. I moved away and never had to deal with them again.
