Blade motor winds down slowly, cs useless
Post Body

So this fall my blades have suddenly started winding down very slowly when I shut them off, and in reading online it seems it's a known thing. Something to do with blade brakes or something? Anyhow I called tech support who said it was a specialized part so they transferred me and there...it just got dumb. Lots of holds, lots of repetitive questions...telling me that it was normal..yeah..not the sound I've heard the rest of the time I've owned it (about a year now) Then told me they'd never heard of this issue before and that I'd need to email some address they gave me with ...get this...someone else recording me starting the mower, watching what is doing and blade deck visible, then turning on the blades..then off...but that I was to havd someone else do this for me. Hrmmm... So I argue it down to me recording it myself, but then it seems the video is too large to attach to the email (oh and screenshots of my Lowe's online receipt) to forward to their technicians, and I would hear back from them. Guess what...a month later here and haven't heard back. I've even re-emailed them stating that I'd emailed and not heard anything back yet. So looks like I'm going to need to call again ....go through that fun...see what the hell is going on.
Winter is coming and transporting this is going to get a lot more difficult in this area. And here every review of ego that I saw was as though they are about the best.... Not CS that's for sure ... Plus I'm not even sure that there's an "authorized service center" anywhere near
