lawn mower blade ramp up speed

hey folks,

I have the LM2135SP lawn mower that I am using for a second season. I have a weird problem that I haven't been able to find in the normal troubleshooting forums.

The time it takes for the blades to get to full speed is now about 15-20 seconds where before it was closer to 3-5.

once it gets to full speed there are no issues, it even seems to adjust power at a normal rate when I get to heavier grass.

I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem and if there's a weird sensor I might be missing before I go through a warranty claim.
