I was thisclose to deciding on a TD27 but frankly the sounds were a big turn off. The Strike Pro SE sounds are the only builtin sounds I've ever heard that really got me excited about playing an e-kit. I know that Roland has a great reputation for quality; Alesis not so much, but I've also heard that the SPSE is a big improvement quality wise. I don't hit hard so I am not too worried about damaging the kit. I also think that the Alesis pads feel just a little better than the Roland.

Anyone have this kit long enough to be able to make a quality / durability assessment?
