Advice on Metronome - Nitro Max/Mesh Users
Post Body

Hi guys,

I'm hoping for some advice regarding the Nitro Mesh/Max metronome that comes with the module. For context, I'm currently a beginner, and slowly working through Drumeo Method...

I've started working on a range of exercises where I need to keep time, and tonight I was working on an exercise where I was playing 16th notes on the snare at a tempo of 90 bpm...

On the module, there is a little ball that moves from left to right and right to left, and if your notes are perfectly timed, it says 'Good', otherwise it says 'slow' or 'fast. Should I avoid looking at the screen of the module, and only play relative to the clicker in my ear? I find myself staring at the screen while I'm playing, and I'm not sure that will be a constructive thing for the future. Any guidance on this front and in relation to keeping time would be very much appreciated!
