Really nice producing headphones, or a computer used mainly for producing?
Post Body

I thought it would be a good idea to ask this question here. I have $200 in gift cards to Best Buy, and like $300 or so in just cash. I produce on a laptop that I share with other family members, so needless to say I don't have a designated place that I can sit down and produce music, which although I am ok with, I want it to change at some point. I have an older pair of Sony headphones that my friend gave me that aren't very good at all, and a very good pair of earbuds (but who am I kidding, their earbuds, they aren't good for production). I'm thinking about buying a nice pair of headphones (like $250-$300) and then just save up for a decent (only decent) computer afterwards. Although that's what I would do, what sounds better to you guys?

Sorry for it being long xP

Edit: I should have clarified this, the $300 I have isn't on me right now (I'd have to wait a really long time to get it) so I'd prefer to go with headphones from best buy around the $200 range, more or less.
