Hardstyle fan since sophomore year of highschool and more recent appreciator of Trance so when I found out about Ostirus it was like a fucking dream come true. The problem is: I don't use it as much as I want to, and when I do use it I'm never happy with the sounds I end up making. I'll try and be consice with the issues I'm having and hopefully more experienced people can clue me in (I speak as someone who loves the sounds but doesn't know much about the AV):
Weak sound: everything I make just sounds so thin and airy, a clipper has helped with low volume but the sound still isn't very "full" I know good preamps can color sounds in pleasing ways and since the TI is analog I'm wondering if there are any good preamp emulators worth looking into? I know the TI isn't renowned for it's phat beefy waves but still, anything to beef it up would be nice
Uninteresting Wave Tables: Maybe I'm just spoiled by Serum but the WTs in the TI just don't interest me/sound kinda similar to my ears, I know not every single synth is a master at everything it does but I'd like to know more about the tables and if there's any popular sound they're associated with and maybe some tricks to make them more interesting
More than just supersaws: this one is mainly just me being inexperienced and don't get me wrong I fucking love supersaws but I wanna expand my sonic palate, every time I've tried to make something other than a supersaw I just get disappointed. I know it's capable of more than just saws and I really want to explore that more, some tips on even just basic patches would be much appreciated
Built-in FX, use em or lose em?: this is probably the most personal preference/well duh question on here but was the TI famous for its FX? I'm totally fine using different ones but I just want to make sure I'm not wasting the potential of the onboard ones. (Everything I've made with the onboard FX so far has been fine but nothing stellar)
It's surprisingly hard to find any guides on the TI/any videos that go beyond basic short things and I would really love to do a deep dive into it so any info is welcome
