Very (very) armature, recreational with my production. I'm making a track right now with audio recordings of me. Currently the best option I've got for sound quality is by recording the audio on my phone using an app. There are a few vocals that I want using my voice, but I'd like it to be... deeper than my natural voice.
How do I do this? I've tried editing the sample in daw and haven't succeeded.
Is there an app that can like, auto tune my voice to a lower pitch? From my attempts at changing the recorded sample in daw, if I change the 'pitch it slows it down and unusable. Trying to play with the eq doesn't give me what I want, and adding distortion ain't it either. This leads me to believe I have to figure out a way to change my voice while recording. Am I correct in this line of thought? And if so, again I ask: is there an app for this?
I mostly use Maschine. My wife bought me a Maschine 2.0 years ago and this being a hobby, I'm not going to invest in a proper daw software or any kind of daw keyboard or proper audio recording equipment. So anything that works on Android or something that works on PC I guess - I don't have a very good option for audio recording on PC so android would be ideal. I'm not against paying money for a app vs free apps.
