Looking for tips on how to quote a client for a project that involves travel.

• my main experience/talent is with Editing, but since I have audio recording skills as well, I'm also being flown (or I'll drive w/gear) out of state to help with production
• it's 10 to 12 days on the road, meals and travel will be covered & "advances for expenses will be made and invoices will expected to be filed"
• it's NOT known how many hours of video will be recorded, nor is it known what the final project will look like, but if I had to guess from my own understanding of the project, it might be a ~1 hr long documentary style video
• video will involve training seminars, student/advisor interactions, "collaboration between mentors" -- think of the different kinds of video that might be recorded in a documentary perhaps

Any help pricing this out?

I'm thinking $x per day on the road, plus any audio gear I need to buy or rent, plus $x day editing (since we don't know how much that will be)? or other ideas?
