Post Body

Hi all! I'm starting as an editor on a well established reality show (with elimination competitions, participant dynamics and drama, and a TON of cameras). I've got many years of editing experience but haven't worked on a project of this magnitude before. I know the AE's are brilliant, and I'm sure I'll be working with producers who have been with the show for a long time (the show has been around for a couple of decades, so there's definitely a bit of established style and formula to it). My question is: do any of you reality editors have general advice? I know that's an incredibly vague question but I thought it would be worth putting out there to see what other editors have to say about working in reality tv. Thx!
