Legally selling "used" software?

Post Body

How / can one resell used software legally? In particular, I have a couple hundred GB of AFX, VFX, Foley plus paid DCTLs, calibration software, etc. I'm getting out of editing completely. These assets cost quite a bit (all purchased legally) so I'd like to recoup some of the costs. Would something like a bill of sale suffice for an essential transfer to new ownership? Or is it typically that the purchaser is the end and sole user / licensee? Again, wanting to do this completely above the board.
