this only seems to be happening on a table list from salesforce.com - so it might have to do with how the page is rendering/loading - it also only happens on that specific list (if you know salesforce at all, its around the case list page - if I go into a case it works just fine) - as an example here is a sample of the page: https://imgur.com/a/jM15bpJ

Trying to see if there is a workaround for the ability to highlight the text of a link and just copy the text - for example on the page that has a hyperlink "03731026" - that could go to a different URL or a different page - all I want to be able to do is select the text 03731026 and copy that - not the URL. But click and drag isnt highlighting at all....

I think its due to the fact that its highlighting the entire row when I mouse over and thats likely preventing the text highlight from happening. Because if I move to the outside - say over on the sales team links - it works as expected.
