Edit: Thank you thank you thank you! I was able to sorta fix my situation and I will be implementing/trying y’all’s suggestions. My eczema came back almost two years ago after being gone for over a decade so I’m still trying to figure out how to deal with this god forsaken condition. Y’all are the best. 😭🙏🏽
I’m currently experiencing the worst flare I’ve ever had. Thankfully it’s mostly just itchiness and soreness but it’s spreading to places it hasn’t before. I think the only place that is okay is my hands and feet.
I’m taking lukewarm to cold showers, using colloidal oatmeal, slathering my body in lotion (ran out of cerave so I’m using whatever I can find which doesn’t help), sealing everything in with vasoline, etc. I can’t change my diet and I’m trying to limit my stress but it’s rough.
I can’t afford to go to a dermatologist or my PCP because of the copay. I can’t afford anything over the counter. The ER definitely isn’t appropriate. Maybe urgent care is the best way to go. I literally have no idea. I just need a refill of some sort of steroid cream to get to a more manageable state. There has to be a solution that I’m not thinking of so any advice is appreciated.
Sorry if a similar post has been made and sorry for venting. Thank you in advance. 💖
