How long does it take until you notice a reduction in itching? My doctor put me in this as a way to reduce pruritus and I am a week and a half in and haven’t noticed any difference. I am on this off label as I do not have any lingering atopic dermatitis but I have severe allergies and constant itchy skin. I will be getting patch testing done in July to hopefully aid even more but would like to to how long I should wait before I start losing hope.

My next dose is next Friday and I have to take multiple allergy pills a day in order to reduce itch in any form and it doesn’t last long. My doctor thinks it’s all contact related but I’m having doubts because I’m not just itching where contact takes place but all over my body. The best way to describe it is a non stop itch all over my body in and small reactions in little spots that go away in hours.
