I've determined that my data needs both a log transformation using BoxCox.lambda and a first difference using a unit root test. I'm not sure if it also needs a seasonal difference. I was told there is a unit root test for it as well but can't seem to find the code for it.
I did come across this ndiffs and nsdiffs coding. Is it safe to use this or is conducting the unit root/other testing better? When I did ndiffs it gives me 1 which matches with the unit root test I did initially of having to take the first (ordinary) difference.
