Just got a Specialized Turbo Vado SL and need to buy security. Considering a LiteLok X-1 AUD$330 or getting a Hiplock DX plus a mid range chain ($200 total). Also thinking I’ll probably get Pitstoppers to protect the wheels.

I like the simplicity of just having one lock but wonder whether having two (the Hiplok is still gold rated) might be a better just from a ‘that looks like a pain in the ass to steal’ perspective. Plus cheaper.

Not planning on leaving it overnight anywhere or parked outside a railway station all day. Would be good to be able to leave it for a couple of hours while I do shopping or see a movie.

Or would the Hiplock be enough? I’ve not seen anything that indicates how long it takes to cut through.
