I had the bike tuned today by a pro who works on lots of eBikes. Two things he told me today, based on experience:
Post Body
Stay away from Lectric. While their customer service is excellent, they’re selling crappy components. Like dangerously bad electronics (had pictures to prove this).
Aventon bikes are excellent for their price and reliability.
Edit for clarity, he’s strictly a mechanic who operates a mobile service. He doesn’t sell any bikes (other than personal bikes), and has no rooting interest in one manufacturer or other.
