Well, life has hit me like a truck this week. My electric scooter's rear bearing exploded, the battery died after 730 miles of Philadelphia's crappy streets and gravel, and it's out of warranty. The brakes failed on my Giant Talon mountain bike that I built as a college freshman 5 years ago, the frame has seen much better days, and it's out of warranty. I think an e-bike might be a good replacement for both.
I've browsed through this subreddit as a lurker for a while, and I've seen mixed opinions on Bosch and their CX motors/smart system. The bike I'm looking at right now is the Cannondale Moterra Neo 3 with Bosch's 750wh battery and CX motor.

Cannondale has them on sale for $4kUSD right now, and that's a digestible price for me, despite being at the highest point in my budget. To me, it seems like a pretty nice value for the price, and there's Cannondale shops in my local area that can work on it. I've wanted a Cannondale bike since I was a young teenager, and this seems like the perfect opportunity to finally own one. I've ridden some of the trails around here and I think a bike like this would be a blast on those trails.
What are y'all's opinions on the Performance CX/Powertube 750 Smart System, and on Bosch/Cannondale as a whole? If you think that bike is a bad deal or think that I could do better for $4k or less for a proper full-suspension mountain e-bike, let me know what you think is the better option.
