Starting now we will be working to designate certain accounts within the community with "Promotional User" flair. What does this mean?

As we go through our normal work flow we will be keeping an eye out for submissions linking to YouTube or other media services and we will be taking the time to "vet" these users. Among a handful of things we will be looking to ensure that these users are regular participants within the community and that they are in good standing regarding our community expectations. If they meet our criteria they will be "flaired" which should help reduce Automod falsely removing posts or with content getting caught up in the spam filter. We also hope that this will help bring attention to the kinds of promotional content we encourage and that this will result in higher quality content all around.

Additionally, for users who are active within r/easyrecipes but do not manage an associated YouTube channel, etc., we have "Home Cook" flair. This is just our way of acknowledging dedication and quality contributions to our community. If you think you qualify (demonstrate a posting history within r/easyrecipe and be in good standing) give us a shout through modmail and we'll gladly get you set up.
