Challenge: rumble just the L or R

I remember learning to rumble. I think I was about 4yr old. But it never occurred to me:
TEACH YOURSELF TO RUMBLE EITHER EAR, ON DEMAND!!!
Huh, maybe it's impossible, like moving just one eye upwards. Or is it like eyebrows: easy to move both, but it takes practice to do a "Dr. McCoy" and move them independently.
