Do we really need a first round DT?

Post Body

Firstly, I believe whoever we pick needs to be a day 1 starter, and where I agree that a player like Jordan Davis looks fantastic on paper, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense

At the moment we have Fletcher Cox, Javon Hargrave, and Milton Williams. More or less Probowl talents, and a 1st year player whos shown flashes of being a starting caliber player. Fletcher is a fan favorite and damn near a perennial pro-bowler, and Hargrave just came off a Probowl season. In almost every scenario it doesn't make sense, JD or Wyatt wouldn't start, and it would halt the progression of Milton.

just curious as to what people think, personally think we need defensive backs more than anything
