General info: I have sold sports cards at live shows for 10 years, recently (6 months) started an eBay store after gaining full custody of my son. couldn't travel and be the dad I want to be, so this was my decision after looking at several potential routes.
The good - I can sell cards and turn a profit because I have knowledge of the industry and experience.
The bad - United States Postal Service. eBay 20$ or less insured shipping - 2 of 3 items shipped in December, (12th and 16th) still en route to the buyer. Both buyers have asked eBay to step in.
USPS priority tracked - 1 of 1 items were sent, marked as buyer moved locations, never delivered, and disappeared, dec. 18th.
Third claim how now been opened. My payouts are frozen, my 100% review dating and seller status are going to get trashed, and I can't do anything to change it.
If I refund the items, I'm losing out on money and card. If I don't, what will eBay do? Anybody else having such frequent problems with USPS? Solutions?
This isn't my main source of income, but it is my son and I's fun money, a learning project we are doing together, and it currently sucks.
What gives?
