Sourcing through Alibaba

Has anyone here ever sourced through alibaba or aliexpress or some similar wholesaler onto Ebay and has some success? I'm thinking of doing that for a few items so I can sell them in my store. Any help with difficulties you've faced or advice would be helpful.
