How do you explain yourself and symptoms to those who don’t understand.

I’ve tried and tried to explain that I don’t feel the same way my parents and my spouse feel. And it just goes over their heads. I’ve sent them videos and links and letters from my therapist but nothing seems to click in their minds that I’m just not always a happy go lucky person.
