I discovered early last year that weekly plans are useless for me and end up being merely a decoration on every door, I printed about 7 copies in hope I would follow them especially when balancing uni, gym, research and seeing my girlfriend...And a week into term it kind of well failed.
I realised I can however with some success plan portions of the day and it kind of works, thats what happened today. Last night I planned to get up at 9 get breakfast get to the gym by 10, go shopping around 3 then go to the library around 8.
I woke up at ....10, thought 'not too bad only an hour late, we got this'. Got up at 11 'only two hours late we still got this'. 11.10 I realised 'ahhh I went to the shop last night to get milk not energy drinks, suppose I'm going back to the shop now then'. So its 11.20 an hour later than I wanted to go to the gym and I was eating breakfast, after I finished washed up etc. I put a t-shirt, shorts on then a hoodie and track pants over them, grabbed my bag (I keep my gym shoes, belt and straps in my bag at all times so I don't lose them) and finally walked out the door at 12, then walked back in the door as I didn't have my bottle or gym card. Finally started walking to the gym got about 30 metres away and decided to check where my card was. Guess what? I didn't have my sodding card. Walked back up the hill, retracing steps in case I dropped it and didn't find it also turned my room upside down and its not there.
Currently half 1 and today is already written off still sitting in my gym gear in hope someone finds it before gym closes. My brain doesn't like me planning things.
TL:DR: tried planning day dyspraxia said no, active day has turned into pc day.
