Ball Animal 2+ - Possible to access the seal in the base of the dust canister?

So in the bottom of the dust canister, the door / flap / base is 2 pieces of plastic with a rubber seal sandwiched between them, any advice on if this can be disassembled to clean the rubber seal of the dust and assorted grime build up please?
