So this all has started happening in the last 3 weeks:
- Fairly bad chest pain and left shoulder pain, been to ER twice
- Feeling like I'm having a heart attack
- At night it feels like I'm having cardiac symptoms. Often I will wake up and have to sit straight up or walk around to feel like blood is flowing correctly in my arms and chest. One time I woke up with adrenaline feeling accompanying this
- Bad gas and constipation, feeling like things are not moving at all digestively sometimes
- Extreme anxiety spikes
- A few nausea spikes
- Feeling like my middle abdomen is tight and I can't relax it
- Noticed pain/tenderness around a lump where my abdomen meets my chest (sternum is inflamed?)
- Persistent sometimes dry/sometimes wet cough
- Some reflux
- Extreme thirst
- Weight loss and loss of appetite
- Cold chills a few times
- feelings of impending doom
I have a stress test on Friday, an endoscopy scheduled a month out, and a gastric emptying study. EKGs and heart enzyme tests came back normal at the ER. The biggest thing I haven’t found any explanation for is this middle of the night issue where I wake up every night feeling really strange, sometimes blood feels like it’s flowing too quickly and other times it feels like I don’t have enough blood in my extremities and organs. This sound familiar to anyone? Anything to help reduce these symptoms so I can try and get a single nights rest? I’m struggling to see myself being able to maintain and deal with this for long even though it’s only been about a month. Even just waiting another month for the endoscopy feels like too long and that I might actually die before it happens. Any advice appreciated, thanks.
