So, starting with Hyrule Warriors, then Fire Emble Warriors and Persona 5 scramble, I've kinda gotten into the musou-style games and I also like games where I can make my own character.

So, I picked up Samurai Warriors 4 Empires. Here's the problem. I am not familiar with Samurai Warriors, so when I go to selection and all the information I get is "Kanbei Kuroda" and my character holding a green orb, it doesn't actually tell me how that weapon will play or if I wanna pick it.

I assume it's ranged, but is it fast, is it slow, does it do wide sweeps or long lines?

Is there any sort of guide explaining the different weapons or am I going to set a weapon, do a mission to test it and swap if I don't like it until I find a good fit?
