about 10 years ago everyone was curious about what was going to happen with the Koei Warriors franchise and if they were going to expand to a new historical based franchise. Especially if we saw the Troy musu come out in 2009 from the Koei Canada division. However tech mocha we went in a more financial route and chose to do crossover games such as one piece, Hyrule, fire emblem, and gundamn to name a few. Sadly with the success of those games I fear that we're never going to get a another historical based series, perhaps we may someday but I am starting to doubt that.
A couple war periods I would love to see.
Revolution of America. 1763-1815. (French Indian war, American revolution, and war of 1812).
The expansion of the ottomans. 1453-1476.
Conquests of Rome. 90bc - 50ad. (Slave revolt, triumverant, succession war, mithradates)
Hundred year war (this time as a musou aka not bladstorm)
