Orientation happens in the two days leading up to the public opening. Lesbians new to the festival often volunteer for the lowest intensity exhibits. Transparent booths where they can put on a show for the public, either with their girlfriend or without. The booths with stripper poles are first come, first serve. There are always more women interested in using these booths then there are booths, so there is a sizable waiting area behind the scenes. It's not unusual to hook up with bi or questioning women there, and turn a solo act into a duo or even threesome. The organizers don't really care if some lesbians never actually perform in the booth, so it functions as a safe space for lesbians of all comfort levels.
