I almost decided to skip it after seeing all the complaints on this sub about it and was getting really disappointed (since DL2 and Elden Ring are the two games I've been looking forward to for a few years now) but since I had a playstation giftcard lying around from christmas and I've been starved for new games I just said screw it and gave it a shot. I'm really happy with the game. The level design and world are awesome and I've been having a ton of fun parkouring around the city. Still haven't left the first city area yet since I've been really taking my time and doing every side quest I've come across before doing each main quest. All in all I'm really happy with it.
If you liked the first game then form your own opinion about the second instead of jumping on the hate train because of people saying negative stuff. Is there room for improvement? Sure, but Techland has shown they have no problem supporting and updating a game for years so I think it will only get better. Plus we're going to be getting 2 paid story dlc's this time. If even one of them is the size of the following then this will be one of the meatiest zombie games of all time.
