I was playing through the story the other night and I reached the second night mission where you have to run away from the asshole super scary virals for the first time, and imagine the scene if you will. My heart is pumping, the adrenaline is flowing, I'm running from rooftop to rooftop and I look behind me to see a fuckton of zombies running after me. After pooping my pants, accidentally throwing a ninja star at an unsuspecting window and squealing like a little girl at a One Direction concert, I prepared my next jump.

Looking at the next ledge I sprinted forward, valiantly tried to jump, missed the button and fell to the ground where I was subsequently curb stomped by an unseen zombie. Cue screen going black and I'm pumped beyond belief to try it again, and I wake up in the safety of the Tower's lobby (wat.jpg).

So basically it skipped me to the end of the mission, and at this point I've progressed pretty far past that mission so I was wondering if there's a way to replay story missions without resetting my progress or starting a new character.
