Hello!

So for Hallowe'en I am being a snail. The body is meant to be green, but I wasn't able to find any clothing that matched the shade my headpiece is, so I decided to dye them to match. I have a white sweater and skirt and got Rit All Purpose in neon green. I now realize it says it won't work on acrylic, which the sweater is.

I know this may seem like a dumb question since the instructions are on the bottle, but I'm only intending to wear the sweater a few times/just for a costume, could I get away with using the all purpose? I don't need it to look "good" or "even," so I'm willing to be a little sloppy.
