Flower Socks
Post Body

Is this type of dye durable? I saw two possible versions, one by hammering (which I believe will be less durable) and another by wrapping the flowers in the fabric and cooking with a mordant.

I thought about using potassium alum and eucalyptus as a mordant and using the second method. I also wanted to dye the socks first so that they were in shades of pink and blue, I would use avocado and another plant. What do you think? How would you do it?
