Difference between Strong Mesh and PU cover vs PU cover

I'm looking at the 2 of the cheapest Racer edition models. The one is $299 and has a strong mesh and PU cover. The other one is $349 and has PU cover. That is the only difference I can see beside color. I have 2 dogs I didn't know if they could rip ether of the materials.
